TNT will pay for locker room damage in Manila

The PBA commissioner, Willie Marcial, announced on Tuesday that the TNT Tropang Giga will pay for damages to their locker room at the MOA Arena. This occurred during the Commissioner’s Cup Finals Game 2 on Sunday. Marcial explained that there is a process for handling such incidents. When damages happen, the arena sends a billing statement to the PBA, which will then be forwarded to TNT for payment. After TNT's close 71-70 loss to Ginebra, the media saw a significant dent in the locker room wall. However, it is unclear who caused the damage. Poy Erram was seen returning to the locker room after being substituted, appearing frustrated and kicking equipment. Despite the incident, Marcial stated that no fines would be imposed on individual players for the damage. He compared it to breaking an LED screen in anger, where only a bill would follow, not a fine. The next game in the Finals will take place on Wednesday at the PhilSports Arena in Pasig.
