TobyMac achieves seventh No. 1 album on Christian chart
TobyMac has achieved a new milestone with his album "Heaven on My Mind," which debuted at No. 1 on the Top Christian Albums chart for the week of March 22. This marks the singer-songwriter's seventh No. 1 album out of 13 top ten entries. In its first week, the album sold 10,000 equivalent units in the U.S., with 7,000 from album sales alone. The 54-year-old artist last topped the chart in August 2022 with his album "Life After Death." TobyMac started his chart-topping journey with "Portable Sounds" in March 2007. His new single, "Nothin’ Sweeter," previously led Christian Airplay and made history as his 14th No. 1 single on that chart. In related news, Seph Schlueter has also reached No. 1 on Christian Airplay with his song "Running Back to You." This is Schlueter's second chart-topping song, coming just after his previous hit "Counting My Blessings." The artist, who is on tour, will perform next in Waxahachie, Texas, on April 3.
