Todd McKenney buys $2m home in Fitzroy, Melbourne
Todd McKenney, a well-known stage and screen performer, has sold his home in Sydney and moved to Melbourne. He is excited about this new chapter in his life. McKenney purchased a stylish warehouse conversion in Fitzroy for $2,035,000. The home features three bedrooms, high ceilings, open-plan living space, a courtyard, and two parking spots. Previously, McKenney lived in Pymble, a suburb of Sydney, where he often hosted large gatherings. He sold his Sydney home for more than the expected $5 million. He had decided to make this change after enjoying his time in Fitzroy North while working on productions like Cinderella and Hairspray. McKenney also wanted to be closer to his daughter, who is currently in Year 12. He plans to renovate his new home to enhance its bright and industrial style. McKenney enjoys the vibrant atmosphere of the city, including its cafes and vintage shops. Despite his move, he still owns a property on the Hawkesbury River in Sydney for visits. McKenney expressed his excitement about this new adventure in Melbourne, saying, “I can’t wait. I love Melbourne.”
