Toddler critically injured in Sleaford three-car crash

A 20-month-old boy is in critical condition after a serious crash involving three cars at a busy roundabout. The incident took place on March 19 around 4:45 PM near the Holdingham roundabout in Sleaford. A 31-year-old man has been arrested on suspicion of causing serious injury by dangerous driving. The boy was airlifted to a hospital and is currently fighting for his life. The other drivers involved in the crash, which included a white Audi, a silver Kia Ceed, and a black Volkswagen Passat, suffered minor injuries. Lincolnshire police are asking for help from anyone who may have witnessed the crash. They specifically want to hear from drivers who were on the A17 between Sleaford and Newark between 4:15 PM and 4:45 PM that day. The police are also looking for dashcam footage that may have captured the collision. The arrested driver remains in custody as investigations continue.
