Toddler killed by speeding car in Kukatpally community

A two-and-a-half-year-old girl died after being hit by a speeding car in a gated community in Kukatpally. The incident happened on the evening of March 17 while the girl was playing outside her home in Vaddepally Enclave. The driver of the car, identified as 50-year-old Venkateshwar Rao, lives in another block of the same community. He did not see the girl as he moved his vehicle out of a parking space. The car struck her while she was playing in the middle of the road. After the accident, she was quickly taken to a private hospital for treatment. Sadly, she did not survive her injuries and passed away early on March 17. Following the family's complaint, police arrested Rao.
