Toddler suffered brain hemorrhage while on holiday in Mexico
A toddler named Sienna-Rose Millen suffered a life-threatening brain hemorrhage while on holiday in Cancun, Mexico. The 19-month-old collapsed suddenly while playing with her brothers. Her father described the moment she "froze" and wouldn’t cry. Panic set in as the family rushed from one hospital to another, struggling to find help. After a long ordeal, Sienna-Rose was diagnosed with a brain hemorrhage. At times, hospitals demanded upfront payments that the family could not afford. When they finally reached a facility that could help, Sienna-Rose underwent emergency surgery to save her life. While in Mexico, a fundraising effort back home in Merseyside raised over £150,000 to fly Sienna-Rose back to the UK for further treatment. She arrived at Alder Hey Children's Hospital in Liverpool, where family and friends welcomed her with balloons and banners. Her mother expressed gratitude for the community support, highlighting how many people care for Sienna-Rose. The family, once planning vacations abroad, now looks forward to simpler trips in a caravan closer to home.
