Tollywood cameraman dies by suicide in Hyderabad, abuse cited

A Tollywood cameraman named Mohammed Nawaz has taken his own life at his home in Hyderabad. He reportedly did this due to alleged torture from his wife, Swetha Reddy Thada. The couple was married in 2020. Nawaz's mother, Sabera Begum, claims that Swetha physically and mentally abused her son. She said that Swetha hired men to beat him, starved him, and demanded both money and property. There was no suicide note found. Sabera Begum filed a police complaint after speaking with Nawaz just before his death. He expressed his despair, saying he could not endure the torture any longer. His last words to her were, "I cannot live like this. My wife might kill me." This tragic incident adds to a troubling trend of suicides involving tech professionals. Just a few months ago, Atul Subhash from Bengaluru and Manav Sharma from TCS also died by suicide.
