Tom Felton earned most in Harry Potter franchise
Tom Felton, known for his role as Draco Malfoy in the Harry Potter films, has been revealed to be the highest-paid actor from the franchise. Despite having only 31 minutes and 45 seconds of screen time, he earned an impressive £14 million. This amounts to around £451,000 for each minute he appeared on screen. His co-stars, Daniel Radcliffe, Rupert Grint, and Emma Watson, also made significant money from their main roles as Harry, Ron, and Hermione. Radcliffe's earnings varied from £1 million for the first film to £30.8 million for the last installment. Both Watson and Grint reportedly earned £24 million each for the final two parts. In a recent interview, Felton shared his thoughts on auditioning for the role in 2022. He believes his laid-back attitude played a key role in getting the part. He noted that he wasn’t very familiar with the story, which he thinks might have impressed the director Chris Columbus. Meanwhile, casting is ongoing for the new HBO adaptation of the Harry Potter series. Some roles have already been filled, including John Lithgow as Albus Dumbledore and Paapa Essiedu as Severus Snape. Fans are eager to see who else will be part of the new cast.
