Top dance charts see Zeds Dead and Lady Gaga rise
Various artists are making waves on Billboard’s dance charts this week. Zeds Dead, Lady Gaga, GT_Ofice, and David Guetta have all achieved new milestones, as seen in the latest Billboard Dance Moves roundup. Zeds Dead's new album, "Return to the Spectrum of Intergalactic Happiness," debuted at No. 14 on the Top Dance Albums chart. This marks their first chart appearance in nearly ten years. The Canadian duo also saw their song "One of These Mornings" return to the Hot Dance/Electronic Songs chart at No. 21. Lady Gaga had a standout week with her album "MAYHEM." It debuted at No. 1 on both the Billboard 200 and the Top Dance Albums charts. This is her seventh No. 1 on the Billboard 200 and an all-time record eighth on the dance chart. She also charted nine songs from the album on the Hot Dance/Pop Songs chart, with “Abracadabra” leading for a fourth week. GT_Ofice achieved his first No. 1 with “Someone Else” on the Dance/Mix Show Airplay chart. The DJ-producer has previously reached No. 26 with his song “Every Thought of You,” but this is his first time at the top. He credited dance radio for helping him reach new listeners. David Guetta teamed up with Sia for the song "Beautiful People," which debuted at No. 8 on the Hot Dance/Electronic Songs chart. This collaboration marks Guetta's 26th career top 10 and Sia’s sixth, showcasing their strong partnership in the music industry. Finally, Frank Walker and Alexander Stewart's song “Crossfire” rose to No. 10 on the Dance/Mix Show Airplay chart. This is Walker's fourth top 10 entry and Stewart’s second, as they continue to make an impact in the dance music scene.
