Tornado touches down in Rolling Fork, Mississippi
A tornado touched down in Rolling Fork, Mississippi, on the evening of March 23. The National Weather Service reported that a small vortex was visible from MS Highway 14. The tornado caused damage to a house along MS Highway 16, with trees and power lines also reported down in the area. Connie Shorter filmed a funnel cloud forming in the sky near Rolling Fork. However, it is unclear from her footage if the tornado made contact with the ground. This tornado comes two years after a devastating storm struck Rolling Fork on March 24, 2023, which resulted in 15 deaths and widespread destruction of homes and businesses.
