Tornado watch issued for Florida Panhandle counties
A Tornado Watch is in effect for Washington, Jackson, Bay, Walton, and Holmes counties in the Florida Panhandle until 3:00 A.M. CDT Sunday. This comes as spring break begins, raising concerns about severe weather. A Wind Advisory is also active across the region due to a powerful storm system. A severe squall line is moving in, increasing the risk of damaging winds, heavy rain, and tornadoes. Pensacola and Panama City are on the edge of a high-risk zone. While Panama City is under a Tornado Watch, Pensacola has a High Surf Warning. More counties are also under Tornado Watches.
