Tornado watch issued for northeast and southwest Georgia
A tornado watch is in effect for much of northeast and southwest Georgia, including Metro Atlanta, until 4 a.m. Sunday. Residents are advised to stay vigilant as severe storms may bring tornadoes. Tornado warnings have been issued for Cobb, Paulding, Cherokee, Gilmer, and Fannin counties. The storm system is expected to continue moving through the region overnight.
