Tornadoes kill two and injure six in Texas and Mississippi as severe storms move east

At least two people died and six were injured as tornadoes struck Texas and Mississippi on Saturday. The storms caused significant damage, flipping vehicles and destroying homes. The severe weather system is now moving east through Alabama and into Georgia. In Texas, one fatality occurred in the Liverpool area, with four others injured. Multiple tornado touchdowns were reported in Brazoria County. In Mississippi, one person died in Adams County, and two were injured in Franklin County, with tornadoes damaging buildings in Bude and Brandon. The National Weather Service has issued severe thunderstorm warnings for western Georgia and parts of Florida. Power outages affected about 81,000 customers in Mississippi, and damage assessments are ongoing as first responders ensure safety.
