Toronto police seek man who removed ankle monitor

Toronto police are looking for a man who removed his GPS ankle monitor last year. Dominic Petrovich, a twenty-year-old from Toronto, was arrested in October 2022. He faced several charges related to robbery and firearms. Following his arrest, he was released under conditions, which included wearing an ankle monitor. In December 2024, police learned that Petrovich had taken off the device. Since then, they have not been able to find him. Police say he is wanted for failing to comply with a release order and for causing minor damage. Petrovich is described as five-foot-nine with a thin build. Authorities are asking anyone with information about his location to contact them or reach out to Crime Stoppers.
