Traffic restrictions for Hazrat Ali procession in Hyderabad

Hyderabad traffic police announced traffic restrictions for the Hazrat Ali procession on Friday, March 21. These restrictions will take place from 2 p.m. to 8 p.m., and commuters are urged to use alternate routes to avoid delays. The procession will start from the Charminar monument and move through several key areas in the Old City. These include Charkaman, Gulzar Houz, and the Madina area, ending at the Masjid E Imamia. From 2 p.m. to 4:30 p.m., traffic will be restricted near Charminar. Specifically, at Irani Galli, traffic will be redirected away from Etabar chowk. Similarly, at Mitti Ka Sher, vehicles will be diverted to the High Court Road. Traffic will be halted at Nayapul until the procession passes. From 4:30 p.m. to 7 p.m., traffic limits will shift to the Mirchowk area. At critical points like Tipu Khana mosque and Chatta bazaar, traffic will be directed to alternate routes as the procession moves.
