Train derailment in Texas kills two Union Pacific employees and injures three
Two people died and three were injured when a train derailed and hit a building in Pecos, Texas, on December 18. The deceased were veteran employees of Union Pacific Railroad, who were on the train during the incident. The train collided with a tractor-trailer before striking the Chamber of Commerce building.
