Travis Kelce supports Drake's Cinderella March Madness journey
Travis Kelce, the Kansas City Chiefs star, is cheering for the Drake Bulldogs in March Madness. Drake is an 11-seed team that recently won the Missouri Valley Conference. Kelce, who went to the University of Cincinnati, has chosen to support Drake since his school did not make the NCAA Tournament. On his podcast, New Heights, Kelce talked about what makes the Bulldogs special. He praised their coach, Ben McCollum, who brought several players from a Division II school, helping them reach this level of competition. Kelce sees Drake's journey as an inspiring "Cinderella story" and believes they have a tough challenge ahead against Missouri. Kelce also mentioned Texas Tech, another team he likes, which is a 3-seed and has former Chiefs quarterback Patrick Mahomes as an alumnus. If both the Bulldogs and Red Raiders win their first-round games, they could face each other in the next round.
