Trident United Way promotes reading with local students
Trident United Way held its 8th annual Read Across America Day on March 7, with 68 volunteers reading to over 3,000 elementary students across more than 120 classrooms in the Tri-County area. The event aimed to promote early childhood education and foster a love for reading among students from child development through fifth grade. Sponsors Chernoff Newman and The Post and Courier supported the initiative, which emphasizes the importance of early literacy in developing vocabulary and critical thinking skills.
