Tristain Hoath finishes fifth in rookie year at World's Strongest Man competition

Tristain Hoath, a Canadian strongman and police officer, has gained recognition as "the strongest cop in Canada." Born in 1991 in Saskatoon, he joined the Edmonton Police Service in 2018 and began training for strength competitions. In the 2024 World's Strongest Man competition, Hoath achieved a remarkable fifth-place finish in his rookie year. This accomplishment marks him as only the fourth competitor from western Canada to reach the finals of this prestigious event. Hoath has also excelled in other competitions, including fifth place in Canada's Strongest Man 2021 and victories in the Magnus Ver Magnusson Strongman Classic 2023 and the Strongman's Champion League 2024.
