Truck crash in Sundargarh kills three people

A speeding truck crashed into a tea stall in Sundargarh district on Sunday evening. The accident happened on NH-520 near the Jamudih toll gate. Three people were killed, including the shop owner, a woman. The truck was reportedly coming from the Koida area. Witnesses said the driver lost control of the vehicle before hitting the tea stall. The impact was so severe that the truck overturned, completely destroying the stall. Two other men, who were having tea at the stall, also died in the accident. The truck driver fled the scene initially but was later caught by police. Emergency services are still on site, trying to clear the wreckage and search for any other possible victims trapped underneath. Rescue operations continue, with an excavator brought in to assist. K Balang police are leading the efforts and urged anyone with information to come forward.
