Trump and Prince William meet in Paris after Notre Dame reopening ceremony

President-elect Donald Trump and Prince William met in Paris on Saturday after attending the reopening of Notre Dame Cathedral. This was their first meeting since Trump’s election, following their last encounter during Trump’s state visit to the U.K. in 2019. At the reopening ceremony, Trump and William interacted with other world leaders, including French President Emmanuel Macron and Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy. First Lady Jill Biden also represented the U.S. at the event. After the ceremony, Trump and William held a discussion at the British Embassy, focusing on the U.K.-U.S. relationship. Notre Dame has been undergoing renovations since a fire in 2019.
