Trump appoints WWE co-founder Linda McMahon to lead Department of Education
Donald Trump has selected Linda McMahon, his campaign co-chair and co-founder of WWE, to lead the Department of Education, according to CNN. This follows his plans for a significant overhaul of the department. McMahon previously served as the administrator of the Small Business Administration during Trump's first term. She has also held a position on Connecticut's State Board of Education. Trump has criticized the current Department of Education for promoting what he calls "wokeness" and has expressed a desire to return educational control to the states.
