Trump nominates Linda McMahon for education secretary and Howard Lutnick for commerce chief
President-elect Donald Trump has nominated Linda McMahon, a former wrestling executive, as secretary of the Education Department. Oz, a former TV host and Senate candidate, has been a vocal supporter of Trump and previously promised to expand Medicare Advantage. Howard Lutnick, a Wall Street executive, was named to lead the Commerce Department. Lutnick will oversee trade policies and tariffs, aligning with Trump's agenda to protect American workers.
