Trump selects Sean Duffy as transportation secretary nominee
President-elect Donald Trump has selected former Wisconsin congressman Sean Duffy as his nominee for transportation secretary. Duffy, who served in Congress from 2011 to 2019, is known for his focus on fiscal responsibility and rural development. Duffy's nomination will require Senate confirmation. He previously held a position on the Financial Services Committee and chaired a subcommittee on oversight and investigations. Before his political career, Duffy gained fame as a cast member on MTV's "The Real World: Boston" in 1997.
