President-elect Donald Trump has selected Sean Duffy as his transportation secretary. Duffy, 53, is an attorney and former U.S. Representative from Wisconsin, serving from 2011 to 2019. He will oversee various transportation systems and funding. Duffy is a former Fox News contributor and co-host of "The Bottom Line" on Fox Business. He is the second Fox-affiliated host chosen by Trump for his cabinet, following a similar appointment for defense secretary. Before entering politics, Duffy gained fame on MTV's "The Real World: Boston." He declined a 2022 gubernatorial run in Wisconsin, citing family responsibilities, including caring for his nine children.
