Trump shares Paul Anka's personalized "My Way" version
Former President Donald Trump recently shared a new rendition of Paul Anka's famous song "My Way." This version includes special lyrics and a unique sound. Trump expressed his gratitude on his social media platform, Truth Social, saying, "Thank you to my very talented friend, Paul Anka." Paul Anka is well-known for his classic hits, such as "Diana" and "Lonely Boy." He co-wrote "My Way" for Frank Sinatra, which has become an iconic song. Notably, it was also the first dance song for Melania and Donald Trump during their 2017 inauguration. Anka has made various adaptations of "My Way" over the years, including one for Arnold Schwarzenegger when he became the governor of California. The latest version pays tribute to Trump and includes lyrics about Mar-a-Lago and the White House. In the song, Anka refers to renovation plans for the Oval Office and mentions wiping out the national debt. He also makes a note about the first lady. Anka ends the song with encouragement for Trump, stating, "Nothing could stop our President Trump." The two have been friends for many years, dating back to Trump's early business days. Anka has supported Trump at various events, including the inauguration in 2017. Recently, he put his property in Southern California up for sale for $9.8 million.
