President Donald Trump announced on Friday that he will attend the NCAA Wrestling Championships in Philadelphia. Trump spoke to reporters outside the White House, mentioning that he was late to fill out a March Madness bracket. He highlighted his support for college wrestlers and emphasized that the event showcases talent from various schools. Penn State currently holds a strong lead with 90.5 points, followed by Nebraska with 62.5 points and Oklahoma with 61.0 points. Trump noted, "We're going to the big fight," referring to the competition at the championships. He will be accompanied by House Judiciary Committee Chairman Jim Jordan, a former wrestling champion, and Senator Dave McCormick from Pennsylvania. McCormick expressed his enthusiasm on social media about joining Trump for the event. This marks the NCAA Wrestling Championships' return to Philadelphia's Wells Fargo Center for the first time since 2011. Penn State seeks to win its fourth consecutive title and has dominated the championships over the past decade.
