Trump wins presidency by expanding support among key demographic groups
Donald Trump won the presidency by maintaining his core voter base and gaining support from some traditionally Democratic groups. A survey of over 120,000 voters showed Trump made slight inroads with Black and Hispanic voters, while Vice President Kamala Harris did not significantly expand her support. About 80% of Trump voters were white, similar to 2020, while two-thirds of Harris voters were also white. Trump maintained majority support among white voters, with about 40% backing Harris, consistent with Biden's 2020 results. Trump saw increased support from young Black men, with 30% voting for him, up from 15% in 2020. Harris won over half of Hispanic voters, but that was a decline from Biden's 60%. Both men and women showed modest shifts in support compared to previous elections.
