Twiston-Davies' horses ready for Grand National at Aintree
Nigel Twiston-Davies is preparing two horses, Beauport and Broadway Boy, for the 2025 Randox Grand National at Aintree Racecourse. They recently had a successful training session over Grand National-style fences at Cheltenham. The race takes place on April 5. Both horses have shown good form recently. Beauport won the Midlands Grand National last year and finished well in other races this season. He is currently at odds of 40-1 for the Grand National. His owner has connections to past winners of the race. Broadway Boy's owner hopes his horse can improve on previous performances. Broadway Boy is currently 66-1 in betting markets. Trainer Willy Twiston-Davies noted that the ground conditions would suit both horses better if they were softer. In another stable, trainer Harry Fry is excited about Gidleigh Park's upcoming race at Aintree. After having a health issue during his last race, he performed well in a previous chase. Fry is hopeful about entering him in Grade One races during the festival. Another horse from Fry's stable, Altobelli, is set to make his appearance at Aintree as well. He may run in either the Aintree Hurdle or the Liverpool Hurdle, depending on the competition and the ground conditions.
