Two arrested for jewelry theft in Kakinada district

Police have arrested two men in Kakinada district for their involvement in multiple jewelry thefts. One of the suspects is a red sanders smuggler. The two men are K. Kumar, 32, from Annamayya district, and G. Venkata Subbaiah, 38, from Kadapa district. Kumar has been charged in 30 cases, including a serious POCSO case. Subbaiah has 11 cases related to smuggling. The men reportedly met in jail in Kadapa and began committing thefts after their release. They are linked to a burglary at a jewelry shop in Yeleswaram on February 9. Authorities have recovered 66.25 grams of gold, 11.5 kilograms of silver, and a motorbike from the suspects. Police are continuing their investigation into the case.
