The Rajasthan Police's Special Operations Group (SOG) has arrested two men in connection with a paper leak for the 2018 Jail Warder Recruitment Exam. One of the men, Jagjit Singh, is a project manager at Tata Consultancy Services (TCS). The other, Karan Kumar, is from Bihar. Jagjit Singh and Karan Kumar were friends in college. They allegedly worked together to help a paper leak gang obtain the exam papers. This information came to light after the SOG arrested another individual, Sandeep Kandiyan, who confessed to meeting Karan about acquiring the exam's answer key. The SOG found that Karan received the exam papers from Jagjit. The exam was held by TCS on behalf of Sardar Patel University in Jodhpur in October 2018. Police became aware of the leak after examining the mobile phones of two candidates who received the answer key just before the test. Sandeep Kandiyan had agreed to pay Karan 60 lakh rupees for the leaked paper. However, the deal was interrupted when police learned of the leak. So far, the SOG has arrested 19 people linked to the case. This includes various individuals such as middlemen and prison guards involved in the scheme.
