Two arrested in Waterbury on drug charges after traffic stop reveals narcotics
Two people were arrested in Waterbury last week after police found drugs during a traffic stop. Officers spotted Riyadh Easley, who had an outstanding warrant, and discovered heroin, crack cocaine, and marijuana in the vehicle. Easley, 33, was wanted due to a previous search of his home in October, where police found firearms and drugs. He faces multiple charges, including possession of narcotics with intent to sell. Robert Bowens, 34, the driver of the vehicle, was also arrested on various charges, including operating an unregistered vehicle. He was released on a $200,000 bond, while Easley is held on a $325,000 bond.
