Two brothers arrested for shooting dhaba owner in Mandi
Mandi police have arrested two brothers from Uttar Pradesh for their involvement in an attack on a dhaba owner last week. The suspects, 25-year-old Mohammad Azmal and 19-year-old Azam, are from Muzaffarnagar and were living in Dangu village, Mandi district. The incident occurred on Friday when the dhaba owner, 61-year-old Pradeep Guleria, tried to stop the brothers from stealing money. They fired shots at him, causing injuries. Guleria is a resident of Dayadi, Mandi. Law enforcement recovered the weapon used in the crime from the suspects. In response to the shooting, police formed a special investigation team, led by the additional superintendent of police, to gather evidence quickly. Police registered a case on Saturday, charging the brothers with several offenses, including attempted murder. Using CCTV footage and data from the crime scene, authorities identified the suspects. They were arrested early on Tuesday morning.
