The first suspect, Gurvinder Singh, was caught while transporting the drug. He was traveling from Ajitwal to Jagraon via Moga. Police received a tip and set up a checkpoint near Gurusar Gate on the Ludhiana-Ferozepur highway. They found about 100 grams of heroin and 210 rupees on him. Gurvinder Singh is from Toti village in Sultanpur Lodhi. Police are investigating where he got the drugs and who he intended to sell them to. The second suspect, a woman named Sandeep Kaur, was arrested later the same day. Police were at Tihada village bus stand when they learned Kaur was also supplying heroin.
