Two hospitalized after car overturns in Staten Island

Two people were hospitalized after a car accident on Staten Island on Wednesday morning. The crash involved a Volkswagen SUV that overturned on Seaview Avenue near Oceanside Avenue. The vehicle showed significant damage, especially on its roof and front windshield. Airbags inside the SUV had deployed after the collision. The New York Police Department (NYPD) temporarily closed part of Seaview Avenue while they cleared away glass and debris from the road. The crash was reported at 7:44 a.m. The injured individuals were taken to Staten Island University Hospital. Their current conditions have not been released.
