Two hospitalized after Staten Island bus crash

Two people were taken to the hospital after a crash involving an MTA bus and multiple vehicles on Staten Island. The accident happened just before 3 p.m. near Richmond Road and Lincoln Avenue. The bus driver, a man in his 60s, was reported to have back pain. He was transported to Staten Island University Hospital in stable condition. A woman in her 40s, driving a yellow sedan, also went to the same hospital with minor injuries, according to police. A black SUV involved in the crash sustained major damage. Its front quarter panel was severely bent, and the entire wheel had come off. There was debris scattered around the scene, but police could not immediately assess the damage to the bus and the yellow sedan.
