Two injured in SUV crash at Kalamazoo gas station

One person is in critical condition after an SUV crashed into a gas station in Kalamazoo, Michigan. The incident occurred on Wednesday, March 19, around 1 p.m. The Kalamazoo Department of Public Safety (KDPS) reported that several people were injured when the vehicle veered off the road and collided with the Speedway gas station. Two people were taken to the hospital following the crash. One had serious injuries while the other remains in critical condition. As of Thursday morning, one of the injured was reported stable. A total of seven people suffered injuries in the incident, although the spillage of gasoline was minimal, according to police. Emergency medical care was administered at the scene. The driver of the SUV is cooperating with investigators, who are still looking into the cause of the accident. It is worth noting that this gas station experienced a fatal crash in 2017, when a man was killed after being struck by a vehicle.
