Two men charged after €87,000 cocaine seizure in Dublin

Two men have been charged after police seized cocaine worth over €87,000 in Dublin. The drugs were hidden in sweet packets and a container for creatine powder. The men charged are Nicholas Plenty, 49, from Canning Town, London, and Sean McMullen Petherbridge, 26, with no fixed address. They appeared in Dublin District Court and are currently in custody. The pair was arrested around midday on Thursday by the Dublin Crime Response Team. They face charges of unlawful possession of cocaine with intent to sell. In court, neither man spoke, and their lawyer stated they are not seeking bail at this time. The judge scheduled their next appearance for Cloverhill District Court on 27 March.
