Two men charged for drug sales on Instagram

Two men have been charged after police found an Instagram account selling illegal drugs. The account was reportedly offering cocaine, ketamine, ecstasy, and cannabis. Steven Jones, 22, from Wavertree, is charged with trying to supply a Class B drug. Mark William Lavelle, 25, from Toxteth, faces multiple charges, including supplying cocaine and ketamine and possessing cannabis. Both men are in custody and will appear in Liverpool Magistrates' Court today. Detective Sergeant Kieran Connolly emphasized that drug supply often involves violence and the exploitation of vulnerable people. He stated that illegal drugs have no place in Merseyside communities.
