Two men die in crash near Indiana border

Two men died in a crash on U.S. 12 near the Indiana border early Saturday. A 19-year-old from Iowa and a 36-year-old from Edwardsburg were involved in the collision around 1:15 a.m. The Iowa man was driving south on Redbud Trail when he failed to yield to an eastbound Jeep Wrangler. The Jeep landed on top of the Chrysler sedan after the crash. Both drivers were not wearing seatbelts. The Iowa man was pronounced dead at the scene, while the Edwardsburg man died later at a hospital. The investigation is ongoing, with alcohol being considered a possible factor.
