Two more suspects arrested in Tirunelveli sub-inspector's murder

The Tirunelveli City Police have made two more arrests in the murder case of retired sub-inspector Zakhir Hussain Bijili. A minor has been taken into custody for allegedly helping the suspects by informing them when Hussain left the mosque after prayers. The minor is related to one of the accused and will be kept in a juvenile home after appearing before the Juvenile Justice Board. In addition to this arrest, authorities also detained M. Peer Mohammed, the brother of Noorunisha, who is the wife of the main suspect, Krishnamurthy. The investigation continues as police work to gather more information about the case. Following the murder, Zakhir Hussain's son expressed fears for his safety in a video. In response, police have assigned armed guards to protect him at his home, ensuring he has round-the-clock security.
