Two New Jersey brothers died in Philadelphia crash

Two brothers from New Jersey died in a car crash in Philadelphia on Friday night. The incident happened when their Mazda lost control and fell off an I-95 overpass, dropping 20 to 30 feet onto Castor Avenue. The brothers, ages 18 and 22, have not yet been named by police. In addition to the fatalities, two other brothers in the vehicle were seriously injured. They were taken to a hospital and are in critical condition. The crash occurred around 8:30 p.m. on March 21. Police reported that one brother was thrown from the car and pronounced dead at the scene. Another brother died later at the hospital. A puppy that was also in the car did not survive the fall. Authorities are investigating the crash and noted that street racing might have played a role. Witnesses said the Mazda and another car, a Dodge Charger, were speeding moments before the accident. Police are still gathering information about the incident.
