Two Ottawa homicide suspects added to Canada’s most wanted list

Two suspects in separate Ottawa homicides have been added to Canada’s most wanted list by The Bolo Program. Gibriil Bakal, 30, is wanted for the January shooting of Jama Roble, while Mohamed Shire, 34, faces charges related to a 2021 double murder. Bakal is ranked eighth on the list, while Shire is in the eleventh position. A $50,000 reward has been offered for information leading to Shire's arrest, as he is connected to the deaths of two brothers in a shopping center shooting. Ottawa police previously arrested two individuals in connection with the 2021 shootings. Investigators believe Shire may be hiding anywhere in Canada, and they are seeking public assistance in locating both suspects.
