Two Rajasthan teachers arrested for exam cheating
Two teachers in Rajasthan were arrested for cheating in a government exam. They took the senior teacher recruitment exam for science in 2022 by using dummy candidates. The arrests were made by the Special Operations Group (SOG) of the Rajasthan Police. The two men, Dewa Ram Vishnoi and Praveen Kumar, were caught after complaints were made to the SOG helpline. Vishnoi, 27, is from Jalore district. Investigators found that he did not take the exam but had someone else take it for him. Records from the Rajasthan Public Service Commission (RPSC) confirmed the impersonation. He later secured a government job as a science teacher in Barmer. Kumar, 23, is from Barmer. Similar complaints led officials to investigate him as well. His records also showed that he did not take the exam himself. Both cases highlight serious issues with exam integrity in the recruitment process.
