Two relatives charged in 1997 Oklahoma murder case
Two relatives have been charged with the 1997 murder of Gerthie Carolina, an 81-year-old woman in Oklahoma. The charges come after new evidence, including a bloodstain on a shoe, was discovered in 2023. Carolyn Foreman, 81, and Dakota Davis, 45, are accused of killing Carolina to gain her inheritance. Carolina had updated her will shortly before her death, leaving her estate to Foreman. Davis reportedly admitted to the murder in past conversations. Both women were arrested on March 4, 2025, and have not yet secured legal representation.
