Two teens arrested for stabbing in Dearborn
Two teenagers were arrested after a 16-year-old boy was stabbed in Dearborn, Michigan. The incident occurred on Wednesday night, March 19, around 11 p.m. It took place near Warren Avenue and Schaefer Road. Police say the stabbing happened after a group of boys started arguing with two other teens. The fight grew worse, and during the altercation, one of the teens pulled out a knife and stabbed the victim several times. The attackers then fled the scene. Police arrived just two minutes after being alerted. They provided first aid to the victim until the fire department got there. The 16-year-old was taken to a hospital and is expected to recover. Authorities later arrested two 15-year-old boys and sent a warrant request to the prosecutor's office. Both suspects are currently held at the Wayne County Juvenile Detention Facility. Dearborn Police Chief Issa Shahin expressed relief that the victim will survive. He emphasized the need for peaceful conflict resolution and community efforts to guide young people against violence.
