Two warehouses near SAP Center burned in San Jose

San Jose firefighters responded to a fire early Thursday at two vacant warehouses near the SAP Center. The fire completely destroyed one warehouse and damaged part of the second one. The blaze broke out around 3:33 a.m. on West St. John Street and Autumn Street. Fire crews managed to get the flames under control by 5:31 a.m. They continued to monitor the scene until shortly before 7:30 a.m. No injuries were reported. The warehouses were set to be demolished later this month. The cause of the fire is currently under investigation.
