Two women charged with hiding baby in Pennsylvania

Lancaster police discovered a missing 2-month-old baby in York County on Tuesday. The baby’s mother, Kyzhera Weaver, 18, and another woman have been charged with hiding the child from authorities. The situation began when Lancaster County Children and Youth gained custody of the baby on March 14. Four days later, officials were unable to find the baby, prompting a missing persons announcement. Authorities began their search for Kyzhera Weaver and her baby earlier that day. Police located the child just hours after the announcement.
