Typhoon Nika leaves 196 stranded in Southern Tagalog and Bicol ports
One hundred ninety-six people are stranded in ports across the Southern Tagalog and Bicol regions due to Typhoon Nika, according to the Philippine Coast Guard. The situation was reported on Monday morning. In Southern Tagalog, 84 individuals are stuck at various ports, including Real and San Andres. In Bicol, 112 people are stranded at Pasacao Port and Calaguas Island. The typhoon has intensified, with maximum sustained winds of 130 kilometers per hour. It is currently near the border of Isabela and Aurora provinces, prompting warnings in Northern Luzon.
