Typhoon Pepito to exit Philippine Area of Responsibility on November 18

Typhoon Pepito, also known as Man-yi, is expected to leave the Philippine Area of Responsibility on November 18. It will move west northwestward, passing through Luzon before entering the West Philippine Sea. As it approaches land, Pepito is forecast to weaken significantly. However, heavy rainfall, strong winds, and storm surges may still affect areas outside its direct path. As of Sunday evening, Pepito was located near Santa Fe, Nueva Vizcaya, with maximum sustained winds of 165 kilometers per hour and gusts up to 275 kilometers per hour.
